The same breathwork and movement practice that took Edna Campbell from surgery, to chemotherapy and radiation, back to the professional basketball court — now built for you.
8 weeks · Weekly 60-minute classes · Live Zoom check-ins · 30-day replay accessSelect a week to watch the module introduction and see what you'll focus on.
You have completed treatment, and now you're unsure of what to do next. Nobody gave you a map to navigate this time. Week 1 takes away the guesswork: you'll get an honest, judgment-free baseline of where your body is today and a clear roadmap for the 8 weeks ahead, so you can stop wondering if you're doing "the right thing" and start moving forward with a plan designed to get you where you want to go.
If your chest is feeling bound up and rigid, you're not experiencing anything out of the ordinary. I felt this way for months — it's more than likely the culmination of the surgery, radiation, and protecting yourself. Week 2 teaches you specific breathwork techniques that gently reopen your breath capacity, easing the shallow-breathing pattern that quietly fuels anxiety, and helps create real physical and emotional space in a body that's been bracing and guarding itself.
If moving in your body during your typical activities still feels uncomfortable, awkward even, Week 3 is built for exactly that. You'll work through targeted, breast cancer–specific stretches for the neck, shoulders, chest, and upper body — restoring a range of motion that helps you regain comfort in your body.
If you feel like you can never fully relax — like your body is still braced and tense — you are not alone, I had a hard time shaking this feeling too. Our nervous system has been ramped up for so long, it doesn't know how to calm down. Week 4 brings in mindfulness and nervous-system-calming practices built to ease the hypervigilance, helping your body finally shift out of high alert and into real healing.
If your body feels like it betrayed you, if the scars and changes are hard to look at, let alone accept, week 5 is where that starts to shift. This module helps you move from judgment to compassion and acceptance of your body. Building this self-compassion makes every other part of your recovery possible.
If you've lost trust in what your body can do — if "fragile" is how you've felt since treatment — this is where that shifts. This week is about functional movement and strength work, proving to yourself, rep by rep, that your body is capable again.
If you've started healthy routines before and watched them fall apart the moment life got busy, Week 7 is built to break that cycle. You'll weave everything you've learned into a realistic, flexible daily rhythm. We've been building up to this with our daily assignments, now we're going to build a daily routine, a way of living with a rhythm you've developed and can carry forward.
If the thought of "what happens after the course ends" brings up a little anxiety instead of confidence, Week 8 will help. You'll turn everything you've built over the last seven weeks into habits that are truly yours. We will close this chapter not with uncertainty, but with the tools and confidence to keep you moving forward on your own. That sense of self-sufficiency, accomplishment, and confidence is why we're here.
Breathe and Stretch reflects Edna's personal experience as a survivor. It is not medical advice and does not replace care from your physician or oncology team.
